About our school

South Creek School is situated in the historic town of Riverstone behind Riverstone High School and is an active member of The Ponds Learning Alliance.  There are currently 9 Multicategorical classes that specialise in ‘Nurturing Potential’ of students with disability including Autism, intellectual and physical disabilities.

 South Creek School is a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school that brings together the whole school community to contribute to developing a positive, safe and supportive learning culture. South Creek School endeavours to improve social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes for children with disability.

South Creek School provides evidence-based learning programs that are innovative and have a strong focus on individualised learning and sensory needs.

The staff at South Creek School are highly qualified and/or experienced in special education and attend extensive and regular professional development to continuously upgrade their skills in providing excellence in special education. They are dedicated to creating a supportive and innovative learning environment for your child and every class has a dedicated special education teacher and highly trained School Learning Support Officer.

The community has high expectations of the school and work enthusiastically in a three way partnership between the parents, staff and students.
