Director Visit

We were delighted to welcome our Director, Jo Gardiner, to South Creek School in Week 3.

Jo enjoyed spending time with our student leaders in Green Class and chatting with two of our high school girls about their interests. She also loved watching Maroon Class as they travelled around the school selling ‘turtle treats’, while developing their customer service and money skills.

Thank you for visiting, Jo — it was a wonderful day!

SRC Update

Congratulations to our first SRC members, Jon and Jacob. As part of their responsibilities Jon and Jacob recently attended the Quaker’s Hill Network SRC Meeting, alongside 40 students from schools in the area where they had the opportunity to discuss student voice and agency.

Success at the Hawkesbury Show

We are very proud to share that Green Class was awarded Second Prize for their wonderful art entry, 'Timmy the Painted Tractor,' at this year’s Hawkesbury Show.

This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the creativity and effort shown by our students and their teachers. Congratulations to Green Class on having their outstanding work recognised by the judges.

We would also like to thank and congratulate all of the students who entered artwork into the Hawkesbury Show. We are always proud to see our students sharing their talents and representing our school in the wider community. Well done to everyone involved!

HPGE RISE CAPA Showcase Shines a Spotlight on Student Talent

This year, seven SSPs collaborated to create a vibrant performing and creative arts showcase celebrating the incredible talents of our students. Every student contributed by creating artworks, and all were featured in a film performing dance and music therapy sessions. Some of our students with outstanding potential even performed live on stage in front of a large audience! South Creek School is proudly leading the HPGE RISE CAPA showcase for 2026 — stay tuned for more exciting updates!

Introducing Our New Community Access Vehicle

We are thrilled to announce the addition of a second community access vehicle this year! Having an extra vehicle means more students can participate in excursions and community access activities more frequently. This has enabled our talented and sports-focused students to attend various competitions, while many senior classes have visited local shops and playgrounds as part of their community access programs — helping them build independence and confidence.
